Ms.Shakeela Naveed, Communication and ESD officer BPSD who made a presentation and shared the main objectives of holding workshop and informed the participants  about IUCN and BPSD intervention at District level.

She defined the Climate Change and global warming and gave a detailed account of the negative impacts being observed locally and globally. She said that these impacts are quite visible and we can see these in shape of receding glaciers and changing precipitation levels worldwide.
       
The 2nd part of presentation “Options “was delivered by Ms. Abida Munir Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation officer BPSD. She  shared some of the alternate options to the fossil fuels like wind and solar energy, she was  of the view that with consistent climate and energy policy support, renewable energy sources can contribute substantially to human well-being if the beneficiaries’ wisely and  sustainably use these  resources and by this way we can  stabilize the climate,"

Mrs, Ishrat Aliyani Chairperson Girls Guide Association Balochistan addressed the workshop and shared her views about Climate Change and its impacts on our planet. She concluded the session with the vote of Thanks.
