Seeking expertise in climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction

Join ADAPT Project Advisory Group, a regional expert platform that will support Nature-based solutions knowledge generation and sharing, coordination and capacity development in the Western Balkans

IUCN seeks applications from qualified individuals to fill two international expert member positions on the regional Project Advisory Group established to provide expert advice, and support knowledge generation and sharing in the frame of the project ADAPT: Nature-based solutions for resilient societies in the Western Balkans.

The selected experts have an important role in providing strategic direction and guidance on key project activities as well as in promoting climate-smart and Nature-based solutions for disaster risk reduction. Project Advisory Board members serve on a voluntary basis and are part of a regional network and knowledge hub on Nature-based solutions.

ADAPT: Nature-based Solutions for resilient societies in the Western Balkans is a project funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by IUCN. It aims to increase ecosystem and community resilience to climate change and environmental degradation in the Western Balkans. This regional umbrella initiative works with the six Western Balkan economies, regional and local partners.
