Due to increasingly high number of applicants, this year, the organizers decided to increase the number of volunteers to 100, a double increase compared with the figure of the previous years. However, the newly increased number has not yet met the expectation of all volunteers as the number of applicants is extremely high and competitive.  

We hope that applicants will not find this discouraged and continue to apply sea turtle conservation volunteer programmes organized in other MPAs and NPs across Viet Nam in the coming times. IUCN as well as organizers highly appreciate candidates who answer questions seriously and especially pay attention to post-programme activities proposed by volunteers as well as their commitment.
