Project preparation activities to prepare the full-sized Global Environment Facility (GEF) project. The project, “CPIC Finance Initiative – scaling up and demonstrating the value of blended finance in conservation” will support the work of the Coalition for Private Investment in Conservation (CPIC) in mobilizing private investment in conservation through the use of replicable investment models that incorporate innovative blended (grant and non-grant) finance to enable the participation of return-seeking private investors. IUCN will be the GEF Implementing Agency for the proposed Project.
