Training workshop on “Documenting and monitoring ecosystems using Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing” in Kuwait

The International Union for the Conservation of Nature/ The Regional Office for West Asia and in collaboration with the Environment Protection Authority EPA in Kuwait were organizing a training workshop on “Documenting and monitoring ecosystems using Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing”. The workshop was hold between 18 and 20 June, 2019 as part of the capacity building component of the project “Monitoring and documenting biodiversity in the state of Kuwait”. The workshop was opened by the Director of the Biodiversity conservation department at the EPA and the Director of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature/ Regional office for West Asia.
