Leading mountain sustainability through innovation
This event aims to spotlight different innovative solutions currently being implemented across cryosphere and mountain regions and highlight the synergies that exist between key stakeholders, including how they can promote enabling conditions for further investment and policy development.

The complexity of the environmental, cultural, and economic challenges standing in the way of cryosphere and sustainable mountain development requires a paradigm shift and a change of perspective. Public administration, the private sector, the scientific community, and local stakeholders need to work together to find innovative ways to better understand and address global trends and local realities.
This event will be focused on how to build synergies among different stakeholders to co-develop and implement solutions for tackling challenges related to climate change in mountain regions, and the adoption of innovation, new technologies and change management in cryosphere and mountain regions.
