3rd Interinstitutional Seminar on Green Criminology in Mexico

The Third Interinstitutional Seminar on Green Criminology, 2024 (UAT, CRIM-UNAM and ITESA) is proposed as a space for discussion and interdisciplinary participation that allows the linking of studies on green criminology in Mexico from different approaches and lines of research, in order to generate and disseminate knowledge product of original scientific research that positively impact science, government institutions and Mexican society.

An interdisciplinary collaborative network that supports the development of Green Criminology with a vision specific to Mexico merits a collective effort that expands the knowledge of the subject by generating both theoretical and technical documents and specific projects of regional or national scope, in a systematic and permanent manner, and allows the exchange of information based on the experience and competencies of its members.

Convening entities: Centro Regional de Investigaciones Multidisciplinarias de la UNAM, Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) - Unidad Académica Multidisciplinaria Reynosa Aztlán (UAMRA) and Tecnológico Nacional de México - Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Abasolo (ITESA).

Coordinators: Dr. Inés Arroyo Quiroz (CRIM-UNAM), Dr. José Luis Carpio Domínguez (UAMRA-UAT) and Dr. Jesús Ignacio Castro Salazar (ITESA).

Duration: 48 hours

Dates and times: Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 13 to May 2, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Mexico City time).

Deadline for registration: January 26, 2024

Modality: Distance learning

Certification: certificate will be provided with 80% attendance.
