West Asia - CEC Award winners

Mr. Abd-Alhadi reports on the two outstanding professionals who won the Commission on Education and Communication Excellence Award in West Asia

Why the awardees deserved the Award?

Ms. Aishah Abdallah
Ms. Aishah Abdallah has been playing an important role in advancing communal land protection and gender mainstreaming. By doing so, she also promotes women’s leadership roles in these fields, a topic that is really worth addressing.

Mr. Ehab Eid
Mr. Ehab Eid has contributed significantly to the promotion of IUCN and CEC messages over the years, either through the organizations he has worked in (like RSCN) and led (JREDS) or individually as a CEC member and now as independent consultant.
