Yerevani Qaghaqapetaran

The Municipality of Yerevan is a state body implementing community services. The Mayor of Yerevan and the Yerevan City Council coordinate the activites of Yerevan subordinate institutions, commercial and non-commercial organizations. The Municipality is created, reorganized and its activity is terminated by the decision of the Yerevan City Council. The Council monitors performance of city agencies and makes land use decisions, as well as legisleting on variety of other issues. The City Council also has role responsibility for approving the city budget
