Bears in Mind

Bears in Mind was founded in 1993 as 'Stichting Berenbos Rhenen' and later 'Alertis', to run the project the Bear Forest as well as several other bear shelter initiatives. Over the years Bears in Mind's scope has been broadened to include not only bear welfare projects but also nature conservation, scientific research and education & awareness. Today, Bears in Mind is an internationally recognized bear conservation NGO that uses its knowledge, expertise and financial assets to protect bears in the wild and help captive bears in need.
