Naturalis Biodiversity Center

Naturalis is the national museum of natural history of the Netherlands. With a world-class collection of 37 million specimen we work on biodiversity. We do so by teaching, research, educating the general public and individual experience in our museum galleries. It is a place for young and old, from school children to amateur scientists, to marvel at life on Earth, the diversity of nature and the underlying processes. Naturalis contributes substantially to educating a new generation of modern taxonomists and biodiversity experts and is part of an academic working group in which the universities of Leiden, Amsterdam and Wageningen jointly do research.
