Shushilan

Shushilan, a Bengali name signifying endeavour for a better future, is a local non-governmental organization set up by a group of enlightened youth of village Benadona, Kaliganj, Satkhira. The organization came into being in the face of degrading socio-ecological reality of southwest coastal region. Its fundamental principles are: equality of mankind, combatting poverty, safeguarding the interest of future generation, upholding national interest and helping the underprivileged communities.Shushilan`s current activities include road-side plantations and homestead gardening, bee-keeping and sustainable aquaculture.
