South African Association for Marine Biological Research

The SAAMBR is a non-government centre for marine science, conservation and education, which was established to provide knowledge and advice about the sea to the general public and government concerning the wise use and conservation of marine resources. It incorporates the Oceanographic Research Institute (ORI), uShaka Sea World and the Sea world Education Centre.
