Pronatura, A.C.

Pronatura A.C. is a Mexican organization founded in 1981 with six regional offices: North-western Mexico, North-eastern Mexico, Chiapas, Veracruz, the Yucatan Peninsula and Central Mexico, carrying out more than 70 conservation projects in 19 Mexican states. Work focuses on priority land areas, priority marine areas and protected nature areas. Currently, 218 persons and 30 volunteers work for the organization. There are groups of associated organizations regional and national governing councils, 10 coordinating and administrative offices and 15 field offices.
