The Samdhana Institute Incorporated

The Samdhana Institute was founded by a diverse group of senior conservationists and development practitioners. The Institute supports research on and development of the cultural dimensions of community-based natural resource management strategies with integrated catchment management and biodiversity protection being main areas of work. Samdhana provides assistance in environmental conflict, mediation support and helps local organizations to reflect upon on their approaches to problem identification and strategic planning, leading change processes, monitoring and assessment as well as reflection upon effectiveness.
