GAECA Palmeirinha was created under the auspices of IUCN together with the Ministry of Education of Guinea Bissau. GAECA Palmeirinha has been rated as one of the most successful programmes of environmental education and communication (PECA) in West Africa in terms of designing its goals and didactic materials for targeted groups.
