Fundación para el Desarrollo de Alternativas Comunitarias de Conservación del Trópico

ALTROPICO is an Ecuadorian NGO working in tropical forests on the border between Colombia and Ecuador. The organization promotes active involvement with the communities while providing financial and technical assistance to the indigenous peoples that inhabit the area. The organization coordinates activities with the Ministry of Environment of Ecuador, with the local authorities and with other NGOs.
