Suriname Conservation Foundation

The Suriname Conservation Foundation was created as a financial mechanism for contributing towards the protection of the biodiversity in general and specifically within the protected areas of Suriname. It was created in 2001 by the Government of Suriname, the Global Environmental Facility, the United Nations Development Program, the UN Foundation and Conservation International.
