Korea Heritage Service

The Korea Heritage Service is a government agency of the Republic of Korea that oversees national heritage on the Korean Peninsula. Established in 1961, its mandate is to preserve, manage and utilize cultural, natural and intangible heritage. The KHS joined the IUCN in 2008 and has worked in collaboration with IUCN to promote the conservation of natural heritage across the globe.
