Jordan Society for the Conservation of Turtles & Tortoises

Is non-governmental organization was established to protect turtles & tortoises from the growing threats to natural environments in Jordan and global, which is an increase in population, urbanization and human activities in multishapes, and since the land tortoises, sea and freshwater turtles are the most fragile and sensitive and vulnerable to these dangers, it was to be a point of establishing an organization responsible for maintaining them and on the nature of their environments. It is worth mentioning that the Honorary President of the society is Her Royal Highness Princess Basma Bint Ali who added a royal prestige to the Society .
