Doğa Koruma Merkezi Vakfi

Nature Conservation Centre (DKM) is an NGO working for the conservation of nature throughout Turkey. Aithough established in 2012, the same team that established DKM has been undertaking conservation activities since 2004 under a different structure (as cooperative later re-structured as a foundation). The main purpose of DKM is to ensure the effective conservation of biodiversity and sustainable use of natural resources through scientific and integrated approaches while developing institutional capacities in Turkey. While grounding its works on the principie of'conservation biology' DKM is aware that conservation can only be achieved with the joint efforts of communities and institutions.
