Atlanta Botanical Garden

The Atlanta Botanical Garden offers mission-driven conservation science, unparalleled STEM enrichment education, and thought-provoking art and cultural exhibitions. Part of Atlanta for more than 40 years, the Garden has grown as a direct result of its supportive corporate, foundation, and individual communities. Continuous review of programs by education, conservation, horticulture, and advancement staff not only provide a new world-class visitor experience year after year, but ensures that the Garden continues to lead in southeastern plant conservation and teaching the next generation of conservationists. Through its Southeastern Center for Conservation & Research, the Garden advances the science of conservation through research, collaborations, and native species recovery programs that include conservation collections at the garden and applied conservation activities that support preservation of species in their native habitats. Conservation programs, training, and capacity building derived from the activities of the Southeastern Center for Conservation support the Garden’s commitment to serving the needs of the community and making the connection between people and plants.
