Biodiversité Environnement et Développement Durable

BEDD is a leading conservation organization dedicated to the preservation of biodiversity and the promotion of sustainable development. BEDD focuses on key areas such as wildlife conservation, ecological restoration, and community engagement. Our primary projects include monitoring and conserving lion, kordofan giraffe, hippopotamus populations in the Benoue Complex, chimpanzees in the Mbam et Djerem landscape and managing wetland ecosystems in North Cameroon. We also engage in youth environmental education and capacity building for local communities. BEDD employs innovative techniques such as satellite tracking, drones, and camera traps to enhance conservation efforts.
