Tropenbos Ghana
Tropenbos Ghana (TBG) is a member of the Tropenbos International Network, and a nationally registered not-for-profit organisation established in 2001 (Reg. No: G. 8522). TBG was established mainly in response to challenges related to the forest landscape of Ghana. Among these challenges are deforestation and forest degradation, poor forest governance and management practices, including limited stakeholder inclusion in decision making, inequitable forest benefit sharing, livelihoods displacement, unsustainable agricultural practices, biodiversity loss, etc. TBG works in three (3) thematic areas; i. Sustainable land use, ii. Inclusive governance, iii. Responsible business and financing.
