Malawi University of Science and Technology

The Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) was established in 2012 by an Act of Parliament. Conceived as a public university, MUST’s mandate is to promote the development, adaptation, transfer, and application of science, technology, and innovation (STI) for macro and micro economic development. Since opening its doors in 2014, MUST has evolved and emerged as a national and regional knowledge and skills powerhouse of higher learning. It has four schools Ndata School of Climate and Earth Sciences (NSCES), Bingu School of Culture and Heritage (BISCH), Academy of Medical Sciences (AMS) and Malawi Institute of Technology. MUST offers a Masters of Science in Biodiversity Informatics.
