Global Choices

Global Choices is a women-led non-profit advocating for a 10-year Moratorium on Exploitative Activity in the Central Arctic Ocean beyond national jurisdiction - a precautionary principle pause to preserve what we can of the essential sea-ice and its ecosystem while we still can. Our organisation is committed to the principles of climate justice and equity. We are proud to mentor a network of Arctic Angels, young women climate activists who advocate for the ice crisis in over 35 countries, and are meaningfully intergenerational in our policy work. Our Moratorium text includes Indigenous Ways of Knowing and aims to set precedent for inclusive governance of the Global Commons.
