More about the Task Force
We aim to work towards any new or revised conservation targets relating to species under the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and associated Protocols and Multilateral Environmental Agreements, that are ambitious while achievable, practical and helpful in terms of implementation of the overall goals of the CBD.
We focus particularly on Aichi target 12: "By 2020 the extinction of known threatened species has been prevented and their conservation status, particularly of those most in decline, has been improved and sustained."
