ArAves nature conservation NGO

ArAves is a member-based conservation NGO and BirdLife International partner candidate in Armenia. It was founded in 2017 by the Foundation for the Preservation Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC), an IUCN member and leading armenian environmental organization, with the purpose of developing conservation and awareness-raising activities aimed specifically at birds and bird habitats. ArAves develops and implements conservation and community outreach activities, collaborating with local communities, State agencies, non-governmental organizations and other civil society actors for the protection and celebration of birds in Armenia.
