Asociación ProPurús

ProPurús Association is a no-for-profit NGO, dedicated to the conservation of forests, the sustainable use of natural resources and the promotion of balanced and sustainable development of the indigenous peoples of the Peruvian jungle. Part of its work focuses on the protection of people in voluntary isolation who live on the Peru-Brazil border. The work of ProPurús is important as it combines in its agenda the protection of indigenous cultures and peoples in isolation, with the protection of extensive areas of forests located within Indigenous Reserves, National Parks and Communal Reserves.
