CIPRE runs projects which seek to reduce environmental pollution and are based on the use of waste to produce income to combat poverty in the poorer neighbourhoods of Cameroon. Promotion of awareness, training, environmental education and the involvement of local inhabitants in the management of household waste are the approaches used.
