Centro de Aprendizaje para la Conservación en Sarapiquí

(EN) The Sarapiquí Conservation Learning Centre (CECOS) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1993 and registered in the United States and Costa Rica. Its mission is to provide resources for the empowerment of communities in the canton of Sarapiquí through access to knowledge and the promotion of sustainable livelihoods. CECOS links local communities and environmental conservation through its five programmes: Conservation and Sustainability, Community-Based Rural Tourism, Public Library and CECI Chilamate, Language Programme, and Volunteer Programme.
