Community-Based Conservation and Development Research Center
The Community-Based Conservation and Development Research Center (CCDRC) is an NGO based in Guiyang, Guizhou. Since 2003, CCDRC has supported community-based sustainable natural and cultural resource management initiatives, participatory community development, and collaborations between conservation areas and business enterprises in South and Southwest China. CCDRC also offers program design, management, human resources, evaluations, trainings, consultations, and international exchanges related to community-based development. The organization is composed of ecologists and rural development specialists from Guizhou Normal University, Guizhou Academy of Social Sciences, Guizhou Environmental Protection Bureau, Guizhou Poverty Alleviation Office, and community development experts from overseas.
