Coral Triangle Center

CTC was established in 2011 as a purposely designed, independent, locally-based foundation dedicated to capacity building in tropical marine resources management the Coral Triangle, the global epicenter of marine biodiversity. CTC enables local communities throughout Coral Triangle six countries to effectively manage their marine resources. It is focused on delivering customized training and learning, as well as on establishing a portfolio of Marine-Protected Area (MPA) learning sites, which serve as natural laboratories on marine conservation and management. To date, CTC has conducted more than 100 training sessions for about 2,100 participants ranging from government officials and community stakeholders to academicians
