MOm/Hellenic Society for the Study and Protection of the Monk Seal is a non-profit, non-governmental environmental organisation, founded in 1988 aiming at the protection of the No 1 critically endangered marine mammal in Europe and its biotopes, the Mediterranean Monk seal. MOm's mission is to protect the rare and criticaly endangered Mediterranean monk seal Monachus monachus and its marine habitat.
