Fur Institute of Canada

The Fur Institute of Canada is a national non-profit umbrella organization for the fur industry across Canada. 172 members represent all sectors of the industry and stakeholder groups: federal, provincial and territorial governments, trapping associations, conservation and Aboriginal organizations, fur farmers, animal welfare agencies, wholesale fur dealers, fur manufacturers and retailers, as well as support industries and individual associate members. The Board consists of 24 Directors representing all membership categories. Programs are developed and project activities delivered by six operational committees.
