Groupe d'Etude et de Recherche sur les Primates de Madagascar

(EN) The Madagascar Primate Study and Research Group (Groupe d’Etude et de Recherche sur les Primates de Madagascar, GERP) is an association set up by ten university primatologists from the Department of Palaeontology and Biological Anthropology (of the University of Antananarivo) in 1994. These ten primatologists are convinced of the importance of having a research organisation for lemurs. The association currently has 111 members, with 15 of them being foreign nationals.
