Hainan Green Island Tropical Rainforest Public Welfare Foundation

On April 11, 2022, Hainan Green Island Tropical Rainforest Public Welfare Foundation was established, with Academician Yu Gang of Chinese Academy of Engineering serving as the Council Chairman. The Foundation focuses on such areas as ecosystems protection and restoration, biodiversity conservation and restoration, as well as the construction and sustainable development of Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park. By May, 2025, the Foundation has invested over 25 million yuan to support scientific research, the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements, science popularization, study tours, academic exchanges, education and training, etc.
