Established in 2013, ICUE has carried out scientific projects, consultancy services in regional planning, urban planning, plans, urban development plan projects. Together with a team of young and enthusiastic experts, experienced senior experts with thorough under standing of multi - faceted fields such as urban development with urban protection enviromental solution. ICUE cooperated with HealthBridge Canada in developing green public space policies for cities in VietNam. ICUE's activities in recent years have carried out research some a projects related to protection of the natural environment, such as: The thesis Criteria of Urban Tree Canopy; Master planning of Con Cuong ecological urban; Urban green public space for Hoi An city and Lao Cai city, …in VietNam. ICUE has a southern branch office (in Da Nang city) which is in charge of developing urban environment indicators such as municipal solid waste, sewage indicators. These indicators are to evaluate the reduction of urban waste into rivers and lakes, protecting the land, water surface and air quality.
