International Crane Foundation, Inc.

ICF studies and protects the world’s fifteen species of cranes. We also work at ecosystem, watershed and flyway scales and foster international cooperation. ICF maintains a 225-acre headquarters in USA visited by 25,000 people annually with live crane exhibits of all 15 species, an education center, and research library. ICF leads community-based conservation programs, research projects and captive breeding and reintroduction efforts in many countries. We provide technical support on issues as diverse as participatory planning, water management, and climate change. These efforts have led to the protection of millions of acres of wetlands and grasslands on five continents.
