The Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development

JOHUD is Jordan`s oldest, largest NGO working towards sustainable human development. JOHUD adopts an integrated approach to community development which aims to address poverty alleviation, geneder equity, social inclusion and protection of the environment. JOHUD has outreach through a network of 50 Community Development Centres across the Kingdom. JOHUD has been implementing Pockets of Poverty and Village Clusters Projects on behalf of the Government of Jordan to contribute to sustainable rural livelihoods. It is a co-partner in EMPOWERS regional water management programme with CARE.
