Mada Association

Mada is a Lebanese NGO established in 2000 and working to reinforce the relationship between local communities and their natural environment. Active in North Lebanon, Mada has developed a territorial approach in the planning and implementation of its projects and is committed to both the alleviation of serious socio-economic challenges and to environmental sustainability. Through its activities, Mada works to mobilize communities through a common culture of collective action, sustainable engagement, and environmental responsibility, while instilling new standards of leadership. Mada’s initiatives are planned and implemented in the context of the long-term goal of establishming a future Natural Park.
