The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF) is the central administrative agency of the Republic of Korea in charge of affairs related to maritime policy, fisheries, fishing community development, distribution of fishery products, shipment and ports, marine environment, monitoring survey, fishery resource development, research and development of marine science and technology, and marine safety trials. The Ministry is consisted of 2 offices (Marine Policy Office, Fisheries Policy Office) and 3 Bureaus (Shipping and Logistics Bureau, Maritime Affairs and Safety Policy Bureau, and Port and Harbors Bureau).
