Network for Certification and Conservation of Forests

NCCF is an emerginig non-profit organization, engaged in diverse activities like developing globally benchmarked and India specific certification standards, policy advocacy on natural resource management and other emergining issues, capacity building, training and multi-stakeholder engagement. We have developed/developing certification standards for various constituents of our natural resource base,viz forests, trees outside forests, non-wood forest produce, protected areas and wetlands, quality planting material, ecotourism, biomass & biofuels, etc. NCCF has adopted a well-defined institutional mechanism to ensure collaborative & streamlined efforts for certification, policy advocacy, conservation and improved wood-based supply chain with legality and traceability elements and making consumers aware about sustainable product options. NCCF's strength is networking and partnership with central and state governments, interanational, research and academic institutions, experts, civil society organizations, forest dwellers, farmers groups and workers bodies, industry and industry associations, etc.
