The Austrian League for Nature Conservation has been standing up for the environment since 1913. Comprised of more than 80,000 volunteers, the Austrian League for Nature Conservation is a non-partisan organization working independently to ensure that our natural environment is protected for future generations. The Austrian League for Nature Conservation can look back on many achievements throughout it's nearly 100 years of existence. Without the organization's constant dedication many of Austria's environmental gems would no longer exist. The Austrian League for Nature Conservation believes that the happiness and well being of future generations depends on the preservation of our natural environment and its diverse ecosystems. To realize this goal the Austrian League for Nature Conservation works daily at putting environmental protection projects into action. Furthermore, the organization is actively involved with youth groups and the funding of research projects.
