Ogiek Peoples' Development Program
Ogiek Peoples Development Program (OPDP) is an indigenous peoples' organization founded in 1999 and registered on 20th December 2001 with a keen focus to address human rights, land rights and socio-economic development challenges faced by indigenous peoples especially the Ogiek of Kenya. OPDP's work is centred on promoting the recognition and identity of indigenous peoples' culture, the participation and inclusion of these communities in all sectors of development, championing land rights, ensuring environmental protection, and overall attainment of sustainable development.
