Ouwehand Zoo Foundation

Ouwehand Zoo Foundation (OZF) started as an NGO in 2007. The NGO Bears in Mind was the first OZF supported in their work to help bears in need and protect bears in the wild. After that many smaller and bigger projects followed; the Amur tijger anti poaching in the RFE, orang oetan protection in Sabah and Kalimantan, Roloway protection in Ivory Coast/Ghana, Bonobo protection in DRC, lesser and giant panda protection, etc. Apart from financial support OZF is eager to create awareness amongst the zoo visitors and stimulate to them to take action
