Pakistan Rural Initiatives for Emergency Preparedness, Response and Development

Pakistan Rural Initiatives for Emergency Preparedness, Response and Development (PREPARED) is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political Humanitarian Relief and Development Organization working to help those affected by Disasters/Emergencies, Conflicts and Poverty in Pakistan. PREPARED has been operating in Pakistan’s Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa, FATA and Sindh provinces since 2012-13, implementing projects related in the sectors of shelter, humanitarian relief, water, sanitation and hygiene, food security/livelihoods, and disaster preparedness and mitigation. With its main headquarter in Peshawar, PREPARED consists of 35 national staff and has a field office in Tharparkar, Sindh where drough response and mitiagation projects are implemented and monitored. The organization has a sound monitoring unit with experienced staff and renders their services in monitoring the projects with the aim to deliver the services as per project and donor requirements. The organization also has defined policies for gender, anti-fraud and corruption and the staffs are well oriented with the policies and strictly abide by them.
