Palau Conservation Society

PCS was founded in 1994 by a group of Palauans who shared a vision in protecting the environment, promoting traditional conservation ethics and practices for wise use of resources, and sustainable development. PCS is a membership organization supported by nearly 500 Palauans and international members. A Board of Directors is elected by members at an Annual General Membership meeting that oversee governance and strategic direction. PCS is 100% supported by private donations and grants, local corporate giving program, individual donors, membership fees and service contracts. PCS collaborates with other NGOs and public agencies in Palau.
