The Regional Environmental Centre for the Caucasus

The Regional Environmental Center (REC Caucasus) for the Caucasus (http://www.rec-caucasus.org/) is a non-profit organization, with headquarters in Tbilisi, Georgia and country offices in Yerevan, Armenia and Baku, Azerbaijan, established in 1999 within the framework of the “Environment for Europe Process” by the governments of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and the European Union. To achieve its mission REC Caucasus facilitates cooperation among environmental stakeholders by supporting exchange of information, offering advice and technical expertise, and promoting public participation in decision-making. RECC promotes and facilitates the implementation of the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, supporting democratic, inclusive and sustainable societies in South Caucasus countries.
