The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland is home to the Secretariat of the IUCN UK Committee.
RZSS is a learned society and a charity.
Founded in 1909, the three Charitable Objectives of the Society are Conservation, Education and Research.
It owns and operates Edinburgh Zoo and Highland Wildlife Park.
The Vision of RZSS is to achieve international recognition for our leadership in conservation, learning and communicating the value of diversity in the living world.
